The filling of gaps on a soil formation or the cracks on a rocky formation with grout under pressure improves mechanical features and reduces permeability, ensuring sealing. The same method is also applied to create an impermeable wall, in order to control underground water flows. It can also be applied to seal dam foundations, stabilize and seal the bed and banks of deep excavations or to stabilize tunnels and building foundations. The techniques used include the following:
- Grouting
- Grouting with valved pipes (T.A.M.)
- Chemical injections
- Compaction Grouting
- Jet Grouting
